Technology that puts you in control.

Dr. Korcek has invested in the same diagnostic and treatment equipment found at leading specialty practices. Better tools mean more accurate diagnoses, less time in the chair, and outcomes you can see and understand.

Every technology listed below is available at our Minden office. You don’t need a referral to a specialist in Reno to access this level of care — it’s here, in your community.

Phase 01

Diagnosis & Imaging

Good treatment starts with seeing the full picture. Dr. Korcek uses three complementary imaging tools to evaluate your teeth, jaw, and surrounding anatomy with clarity that flat film X-rays cannot match. You see what he sees on screen, in real time, and every finding is explained before any decision is made.

Digital Imaging

Digital Radiographs

Traditional film X-rays expose patients to significantly more radiation and take time to develop. Digital radiographs capture detailed images instantly, with up to 90% less radiation. The images appear on screen in seconds, allowing Dr. Korcek to walk you through exactly what he sees in real time.

Benefit

Up to 90% less radiation than traditional film

Benefit

Instant results you can see and discuss on screen

3-D Radiographic Imaging

CBCT Cone Beam CT Scan

A standard X-ray shows a flat, two-dimensional image. CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) produces a full three-dimensional view of your teeth, jaw, bone structure, and surrounding anatomy. This level of detail is especially important for implant planning, evaluating bone volume, and identifying issues that flat X-rays simply cannot show.

Used For

Implant planning, jaw evaluation, bone assessment

Benefit

More precise diagnoses and safer, more predictable treatment

Visual Diagnosis

Intraoral Camera

The intraoral camera is a small, pen-sized device that captures high-definition images of the inside of your mouth and displays them on a chairside screen in real time. Instead of taking a dentist’s word for it, you see exactly what they see. Cracks, decay, worn enamel — all visible and explainable before any treatment decision is made. It’s one of the simplest tools for building trust between patient and provider.

Benefit

See your own teeth on screen — no guesswork

Benefit

Make informed treatment decisions with full visual context

Phase 02

Same-Day Restorations

Three integrated CEREC machines work together to design, mill, and finish your permanent crown in a single visit. Scan, design, mill, fire, place. No temporary, no second appointment, no waiting for an outside lab.

Step 1 — Digital Scanner

CEREC Primescan

Forget the impression trays filled with putty. The CEREC Primescan is a handheld intraoral scanner that creates a precise 3-D digital model of your teeth in minutes. The digital scan is more accurate than traditional impressions, more comfortable for you, and feeds directly into the design software for your restoration. No gagging, no waiting, no sending impressions to an outside lab.

Benefit

No impression trays — comfortable, fast, and accurate

Benefit

Digital model feeds directly into crown design software

Step 2 — Crown Milling

CEREC Primemill

Once your tooth is scanned and the crown is designed, the CEREC Primemill mills your permanent ceramic crown right here in the office. The entire process — from scan to cemented crown — happens in a single appointment. No temporary crown, no second visit, no waiting two weeks for a lab to ship something back. You leave with your permanent restoration the same day.

Benefit

Permanent crown placed in one appointment

Benefit

No temporary crown or second visit required

Step 3 — Sintering & Glazing Furnace

CEREC SpeedFire

After your crown is milled, the CEREC SpeedFire fires it to its final strength and finish. This compact furnace sinters zirconia and crystallizes glass-ceramic restorations in as little as 10 to 15 minutes — a process that traditionally takes hours in a dental lab. The result is a fully cured, lab-quality crown ready for cementation, all without leaving the office.

Benefit

Lab-quality strength achieved in 10–15 minutes

Benefit

Completes the same-day crown workflow start to finish
