Understand it before you are in the chair
Dental appointments are a bad time to learn new vocabulary. You are reclined, someone has their hands in your mouth, and a word like “apicoectomy” goes past you at speed. Then you get home and try to reconstruct what was said.
These videos are short, plain-language, and animated, so you can see what a procedure actually involves before you agree to it. Watch the relevant one before your visit and the conversation in the chair gets far more productive — you arrive with real questions instead of trying to keep up.
Nothing here replaces an exam. A video cannot tell you whether your tooth needs a filling or a crown. It can tell you what both of those are, so that when Dr. Korcek explains which one you need, you already know what he means.
